A BRIEF HISTORY OF BOROBUDUR TEMPLE


A. Established Time
Many history books are written about Borobudur, but when it is established it can not be known for certain, but an estimate can be obtained with a short inscription carved above the original foot frame Borobudur reliefs (Karwa Wibhangga) showed similar letters to those obtained from the inscriptions on end of the 8th century to the early 9th century from that evidence can be deduced that the Borobudur Temple was founded around the year 800 AD.
