Borobudur Temple is a Wonderful Tour Detination in Indonesia

Borobudur temple is the greates temple in Indonesia and used to including one of the seven wonders in the world. It lies 42 kilometers northwest of Yogyakarta. It's surrounded by park totally 87 hectares. It is located on the small hill with altitude 265 meters above sea level.There is no information both inscription and document to explain name of Borobudur temple clearly, so many interpretation. According to Sudiman, name of Borobudur derives from Sanskrit [Vihara] means: Temple/dormitory complex and the word of Borobudur derives from Bali language [Beduhur] means: Above. So the word of Borobudur means: Temple/dormitory complex which located on the hill. Digging in the northwest of Borobudur found brick foundation and bell. This invention strengthen guess existence ex-monastery. According to Casparis [Dutch archeologist] original name of Borobudur monument is : Bhumisambara. It's means: 10 earths to reach the highest budhist degree. The name is shorted become: Bharabudara. The name of Bharabudara changed become: Barabudur. For Javanese quite difficult to mention Barabudur, so they say: Borobudur.
Up to now not found yet written sources when did Borobudur monument build? Be based on short writing in Kawi and Sanskrit language which found at closed monument foundation, so expert take conclusion that Borobudur temple was built in 8 century.The Borobudur temple was built by 3 kings such as : King Rakai Panangkaran, King Samaratungga and Queen Pramodawardani. Architect of the monument is Gunadarma. He came from India. Local people believe shape of mountain range in the south of monument look like a man lying down while watching his work. He is Gunadarma. We can see his forehead, chain and nose clearly.First time the monument was found by England residence in Java: Sir Thomas Stanford Raffles in 1814 but in broken condition and was overgrown with underbrush.
